SCARED OF FIRE (CONCLUSION)

Hi, you are “face to face with Shell”.

I hope this series “SCARED OF FIRE” has helped you.  You are maybe going through something similar; you are maybe at the start of your “burn journey” and thinking that you’ll never be able to face fire again or whatever your trauma has been.  I have found that over the years my fear has certainly lessened.

Please have a look at this video and read on:

It is nothing to be ashamed of if you react to situations like I did.  People who don’t know what has gone on with you, might laugh, might stare but who cares?  You are responding to a trauma.  They probably have no idea what you have gone through.

In this series “SCARED OF FIRE”, I have taken you through a few situations, to help you to understand that if you are still scared, it is ok.  I think it would be weird if you weren’t; I mean, something hurt you and it’s ok to be frightened of whatever that was.

I still get scared, not very often but there are instances where I am still taken aback.  I was at the cinema a few weeks ago and there was an explosion in the film, I got a fright; not just the usual, where there were others who “jumped” at the noise, I got a REAL fright, so please don’t be hard on yourself.

Also though, as I said in the video above, I was able to watch something on television recently that I was able to handle; difference being, I kind of knew what was coming on the television, with the explosion in the film, it just happened.

You will get there.  Things will get easier.
