Hi, you are “face to face with Shell”.
So, I have done a series on “self-isolating” but what happens when a burn survivor or indeed anyone who has a visible difference comes out of self-isolation and has to wear a mask?
They maybe had built up their confidence to go out “wearing their scars” and now they have been setback.
What happens when they have to take the mask off (once it is safe to do so)? They have been “hidden” behind it, they now have to take it off? They may have built up confidence going out with the mask on. They may experience anxiety all over again, when having to remove it.
