autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I have mentioned this story before but thought that it would fit in with this series as well.\u00a0 I was at a family wedding, having a great day.\u00a0 I was wearing a short sleeved jacket over my dress.\u00a0 We were asked to move between rooms at the hotel and as we were doing so, a woman came up to me and made a comment about my scars.\u00a0 She stroked my arm and said that it was great that I was wearing my own clothes.\u00a0 I had no idea what she was going on about.\u00a0 Yeah, these are my own clothes that I was wearing.\u00a0 I just stuttered a reply:\u00a0 &#8220;Yeah&#8221;.\u00a0 What I think she was trying to say was that it was good to see that I was wearing a short sleeved jacket and that it was good to see that I wasn&#8217;t afraid of showing my scars.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t know&#8230;this is what I took from it.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t think she meant to hurt or upset me.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">What I want to point out though, I was attending one of my younger cousin&#8217;s wedding and our gran was not there, as she had been killed in the explosion.\u00a0 I felt that by this woman saying what she did, it just reminded me that our gran was absent, my little cousin having never met her gran and she was not there to celebrate with her on her special day.\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It just brought everything all back.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I was not aware that a member of my family had overheard what this woman had said.\u00a0 I had no intention of telling anyone but she had been overheard.\u00a0 When I sat down with my family, the woman that had overheard what had happened asked if I was ok and everyone started\u00a0 to ask what had happened?\u00a0 This was so kind of them all.\u00a0 I have an amazing family who are\u00a0 very protective of me.\u00a0 I got a bit upset but everyone huddled around me and made sure that no one seen.\u00a0 My family got me round and we had a great time celebrating.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Again, as like the video before, this came out of the blue and I was taken aback.\u00a0 With this, it meant that I again stuttered an answer out.\u00a0 How would I handle it if it happened again, probably react the same, as I was having such a good day and wasn&#8217;t remotely thinking of my scars, the explosion, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I am glad that I didn&#8217;t say anything back to be fair, as I didn&#8217;t want anything escalating and ruining the day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I&#8217;ll end on a funny note, after the dinner, the same woman waved over at me to join her table for the evening reception, I think not&#8230;lol.\u00a0 I was sitting with my family anyway but I don&#8217;t think that it would have been a good idea&#8230;just incase&#8230;lol.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">Stay safe, stay strong, and we&#8217;ll chat soon.<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi, you are &#8220;face to face with Shell&#8221;.
