approaches (22 June) I felt that I wanted to do a video on this subject and write a short message of hope to you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I now call 22 June 1984 as; I used to dread this date, the day that I was 50 percent burned, the day my cousin received 75 percent burns, the day that we were disfigured for life, the day my gran and her friend died&#8230;BUT WE SURVIVED!\u00a0 For that, I am truly thankful.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In the past, on the anniversary, I would be sad, thinking of those we lost and what happened to us.\u00a0 I would play it over in my mind and let it take over my whole day.\u00a0 I know that this is a natural part of the healing process.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Please believe me that it does get easier.\u00a0 I know, I bet you are thinking that everyone says that but it DOES.\u00a0 The old saying that time is a great healer.\u00a0 Let the healing process take place, believing that it does get better.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If you are at the start of your journey, I am trying to bring a message of hope to you, in that things do get better, it all takes time, so please do not be hard on yourself if you feel that you are nowhere near that stage.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>Below is another video that I recorded, the day after &#8220;Burns Night&#8221;, please have a look:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"BURN SURVIVOR:  ANOTHER MESSAGE OF HOPE\" width=\"625\" height=\"469\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/264J4f3NEaQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
