Hi, you are “face to face with Shell”.
Last year Chris and I took a road trip down to Glastonbury and other areas around England. This year, we are visiting Glastonbury again, however, this time, after visiting Glastonbury, we are heading into Cornwall.
Please have a look below at this short “intro” video and I’ll add the others once we are home:
We have now returned from our amazing road trip. We really did have a ball.
The evening of our first stop off at The Sun Inn, near Penrith, Cumbria, England, we learned of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. May she Rest In Peace.
Please have a look at the first video of our road trip:

In last years “Burn Survivor: Getting Out There”, I done a video from Glastonbury but here is another one and some more pictures. Last year, I didn’t think that mobile phones/recordings were allowed in The Chalice Well and Gardens, they are, as long as you respect the “quiet areas”:

Please have a look at the video below for the next part of “the adventure”:
There are a couple of bits I forgot to say in the video; the beautiful Boxer dog was called “Lucky” and the other little dog was called “Jacko”…they are both worth a mention here.
Also, while we were having a wander the next day, we went to the “pirate shop”; Deadeye Jacks Cabin. We met an interesting woman, who was saying “why would anyone want to be normal”. I love meeting these types of people.
We met some awesome people; there was one older couple who we sat with at the harbour and they were very interested in our travelling stories…everyone has their own story to tell; I love sharing adventures and experiences.

In the video, I did forget to mention a place that we visited in Devon called Clovelly. It is a non-traffic village, so we parked up and had a look at the map. We would have had to walk down the cobbled streets to an inn there. We decided against it, as it was raining and we weren’t dressed for the weather, and especially as we hadn’t booked anywhere, it might have been a wasted journey. It did look lovely and it is always a place that we could visit the next time we are down that way.
The link below will tell you about beautiful Clovelly:

Please watch the next video where I talk about Boscastle and our stay at The Wellington Hotel, which is haunted. I actually read about it in a book that I bought in Tintagel:
