BURN SURVIVOR: SELF-ISOLATING (PART 3)

Hi, you are “face to face with Shell”.

How are you doing out there?  I hope you are all staying safe and coping with life during these difficult times.

If you are one of those people that are still out there working for us and keeping our country going, you are doing an amazing job and again, I personally thank you.

Our NHS is doing its utmost to keep us safe and cared for.  As you will probably know, I worked in the NHS for 30 years and I understand the pressures that staff are under, and will be even more so at this time.  Once more, I personally thank everyone who is on the frontline and keeping our country going.  I shall be eternally grateful to the NHS, not only for what is going on right now but for the care that I was given after my burn injury.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY DRY HANDS?

Washing our hands more frequently has become a huge part of our lives now to combat the fight against Coronavirus.  Are you finding that your hands are drier as a result of frequent washing?  Burn survivors have to moisturise their skin anyway but I am finding that my hands are now needing even more attention.

I have done a video on scarred skin care; please click on the link below if you would like to watch it:
